We’re thrilled to announce we have won the Garden Centre of the Year award and more
Ransoms came 1st in five categories and 3rd in one within the South East region, which includes the South and East of England, and the whole of the Channel Islands, during the Garden Centre Association award ceremony last week.

1st – The Barton Grange Trophy for Commercial Innovation and Creativity
1st – Best Garden Centre Restaurant
1st – Outdoor Living for Best Outdoor Living Retailer
1st – Best Indoor Plants Retailer
3rd – Best Indoor Lifestyle Retailer
Directors Katherine and Rebecca Ransom shared the news with the team and praised them for their hard work and dedication. Saying, ‘We’ve been a family-run business since 1966, and each member of our team is part of that family. These results come from putting in great effort across the board, from the team on the shop floor to our cleaner to behind the scenes in the office. Many leading garden centres belong to the Garden Centre Association and each one must achieve a high level of good business practice before they can be accepted as an Approved Member.
Every year the Garden Centre Association (GCA) come by unannounced and inspect garden centres across the UK and Channel Islands. The annual inspection scores are used to determine several awards, these include the prestigious ‘Garden Centre of the Year’ and ‘Destination Garden Centre of the Year’ titles.
