It’s time to get your hands dirty and let your imagination grow. 🌿 We`re giving away 50 mini garden kits to get you started in this competition.

🌱 Here is how to join the fun:

- From today, pick up your free mini garden kit (with: tray, compost, grass seeds, placard, and tips sheet) at our Information Desk.
While stocks last, only 50 kits are available. Note: Children must be present to collect. Limited to one kit per family.

- Get growing; your kit will include a tips sheet and details on how to enter your mini garden into the competition to win one of three £25 kids` gift vouchers.

- Three winners will be selected and announced on 18th May.

🎉 On this day in 1990 the Garden Centre officially opened in its current location! 🎉

On 7th April 1990 Mike Bisson, head editor of the JEP at that time, cut the ribbon on the redevelopment of Ransoms Garden Centre. The garden centre moved from where the Tearooms are now into the much bigger building, and a festive opening event marked the occasion 🎈🥳
